A premiação é conhecida como “o Oscar” dos RPGs!
A Gen Con é a maior convenção de RPG do mundo. Sediada em Indianápolis, nos Estados Unidos, a Gen Con abriga o Ennies, a maior premiação da indústria do RPG. E você pode participar da eleição ao votar nos indicados para a premiação!
Vale ressaltar, contudo, que a premiação foi criada pela indústria do RPG, para a indústria do RPG — e portanto, os jogos mais populares podem não figurar aqui. O Ennies foi criado, na verdade, pelo site EN World, o maior fórum de RPG do mundo, no longínquo ano de 2001. Com o crescimento da indústria, a premiação se desvinculou do site em 2019, possuindo sua própria direção desde então.
